# Video Block

The **Video** block lets you add videos to your resources. Upload your own videos or embed content from YouTube and other video platforms.

Videos are a powerful way to explain concepts, demonstrate procedures, or provide engaging multimedia content.

## When to use Video blocks

Video blocks work well for:

* Explaining complex concepts with visual demonstrations

* Recording personalized instructions for learners

## Adding videos

You can add videos from multiple sources:

1. **Upload**: Upload video files from your device (MP4, WebM, MOV)
2. **YouTube**: Paste a YouTube URL to embed the video
3. **URL**: Embed videos from other supported platforms

### Uploading videos

When uploading videos:

* Supported formats: MP4, WebM, MOV
* Videos are automatically processed and optimized

### Embedding YouTube videos
