# Learner Dashboard

> Understand the learner dashboard and how children interact with Edzo's learning environment.

The **learner dashboard** is the main screen that children see when they log into Edzo. It's designed to be welcoming, engaging, and easy to navigate.

## Dashboard overview

When a learner opens Edzo, they see:

### Personal greeting

* A friendly welcome message using their first name
* Their profile picture (if set up by their parent or teacher)
* A colorful, engaging design that feels personal

### Learning progress display

The top of the dashboard shows three key metrics:

* **Streak**: Consecutive days the learner has been active
* **Points**: Total points earned from completed activities
* **Gems**: Special rewards collected for achievements

These elements help motivate continued learning without creating pressure.

## Main dashboard sections
