AI question generation

When you create a new quiz, Edzo offers to generate questions automatically. There are two ways to generate:

By topic

Describe what you want to assess and Edzo generates questions for you:
  • Topic: What the quiz is about (e.g. “Water cycle”, “Multiplication tables”, “Decimal places”)
  • Questions: How many to generate (default: 10)
  • Differentiation: Support, Apply, or Extend
  • Grade level: The year or grade level to target
  • Instructions (optional): Any specific requirements for the questions

By curriculum

Search for a specific curriculum standard and Edzo generates aligned questions:
  • Curriculum code: Search by code or keyword to find the relevant standard
  • Questions: How many to generate
  • Differentiation: Support, Apply, or Extend
  • Instructions (optional): Additional guidance for generation
You can always edit, remove, or add to the generated questions after they’re created.
