Slides are a presentation-style resource type that displays content one screen at a time, similar to a slideshow. They’re great for introducing new topics, step-by-step explanations, and visual storytelling.

Creating slides

  1. Click Create resource from Your Resources or the sidebar
  2. Select Slides from the resource type grid
  3. Edzo opens the slides editor with a blank first slide

The slides editor

The editor has two panels:
  • Left panel: Slide thumbnails showing all slides in order
  • Right panel: The slide canvas where you edit content

Adding slides

Click the + button in the left panel to add a new slide. Each slide appears as a numbered thumbnail that you can click to select and edit.

Slide layouts

Each slide has a Layout option at the top of the canvas with three choices:
  • Default: Standard left-aligned layout
  • Centre: Content centred on the slide
  • Two-column: Split the slide into two side-by-side columns
Choose the layout that best fits the content for each individual slide.

Editing slide content

Select a slide from the left panel, then add content to the canvas. You can add text, images, and other content to build your slide.

Reordering slides

Drag slide thumbnails in the left panel to rearrange the order of your presentation.

Removing slides

Select a slide and delete it from the left panel. The remaining slides will renumber automatically.

Slides settings

From the Settings menu in the top bar:
  • Title and Subtitle
  • Differentiation: Support, Apply, or Extend (default: Apply)
  • Published visibility: Private or Published
  • Age range: The intended age group (default: 5 to 12)

Publishing

When your slides are ready, click Publish changes in the top bar. You can then assign them to learners or share them for others to discover and remix.
