Videos are a simple resource type for sharing video-based learning content with your learners. Upload a video file, add details, and publish.

Creating a video resource

  1. Click Create resource from Your Resources or the sidebar
  2. Select Video from the resource type grid
  3. Edzo opens the video editor

The video editor

Unlike other resource types, the video editor uses a simple form layout rather than a block-based editor.

Video details

Fill in the information learners will see when they view the video:
  • Title: A descriptive name for the video
  • Subtitle: A brief introduction
  • Description: Tell learners what the video covers
  • Tags: Add tags to help with search and discovery

Uploading your video

Drag and drop your video file into the upload area, or click to browse. Videos can be up to 500 MB in size.

Availability

Set whether the video is:
  • Free: Available to all users
  • Premium: Available only to users on a paid plan

Video settings

From the Settings menu in the top bar:
  • Title and Subtitle
  • Differentiation: Support, Apply, or Extend (default: Apply)
  • Published visibility: Private or Published
  • Age range: The intended age group (default: 5 to 12)

Publishing

When your video is ready, click Publish changes in the top bar. You can then assign it to learners or share it for others to discover.
