This guide covers the key steps for getting Edzo up and running for your school, from creating your school’s learning space to onboarding teachers and learners.

Creating a school learning space

A school learning space is the top-level environment where you manage teachers, classrooms, and learners across your school.
  1. Sign up for an Edzo account (or sign in if you already have one)
  2. Create a new learning space and select School as the type
  3. Fill in your school’s details (name, location, year levels)
The person who creates the school space becomes the administrator.

Adding teachers

Once your school space is set up, invite teachers to join:
  1. Go to your learning space settings
  2. Navigate to Members
  3. Invite teachers by email address
Teachers will receive an invitation to join the school space. Once they accept, they can create classrooms, add their learners, and start using Edzo.

Managing learners

Schools can manage learners at the school level:
  • Add learners individually from the learning space settings
  • Organize learners into groups by class, year level, or any other grouping that works for your school
Teachers within the school space can then assign content to their learners and track progress.

Plans for schools

The School plan is designed for whole-school use and is billed annually. It includes:
  • Unlimited learners and members
  • Full access to all resource types
  • Increased storage and AI credits
  • Priority support

Onboarding tips

  • Start with a small group: Consider rolling out Edzo with a few teachers first, then expanding once they’re comfortable
  • Share the teacher guide: Point teachers to Getting started for teachers for a step-by-step walkthrough
  • Explore ready-made content: Teachers can browse and remix existing resources rather than creating everything from scratch
  • Use assignments: Encourage teachers to use the assignment feature to track learner engagement and progress

Data and privacy

Edzo takes student data seriously. As a school administrator, you control who has access to your school’s learning space and learner data. For more information about how Edzo handles data, see Privacy and data.
