Skip to main contentOur website and blog serve one primary purpose: to be genuinely useful to teachers, parents, and anyone involved in educating children aged 5 to 12.
Resource-first content
Every blog post should include something a reader can actually use: a free resource, a printable, an interactive tool, or a practical guide. We don’t write purely informational posts that could be replaced by an AI overview in search results.
The test for every post: “Would a teacher bookmark this?”
SEO with substance
We write for search engines and for humans. Our blog targets keywords that real teachers and parents are searching for, but every post delivers genuine value. We’d rather rank well for one helpful post than publish ten thin ones.
Key principles:
- Target keywords with real search intent (people looking for resources, tools, and practical help)
- Write comprehensive, useful content that answers the searcher’s question fully
- Include free resources or tools that can’t be replicated by an AI snippet
- Internal linking to relevant Edzo features and other helpful posts
Content types
- Resource guides: “Free Year 3 Maths Worksheets” with actual downloadable/interactive resources
- How-to guides: Practical advice for teachers and parents
- Subject deep-dives: Comprehensive guides to teaching specific topics
- Curriculum guides: Helping teachers navigate curriculum standards
What we don’t publish
- Listicles with no substance
- Posts that exist only for SEO with nothing useful to offer
- Anything that talks down to teachers
- Content we wouldn’t be proud to share
