Edzo gives you control over your personal information and how it’s used. Privacy is designed to be clear, accessible, and respectful, especially when children are involved.

Profile visibility

  • Within your learning spaces: members of your learning spaces can see your display name and avatar. This is necessary for collaboration.
  • Outside your learning spaces: your profile is not visible to people outside your spaces by default.
Learner profiles are always private and only visible within their learning spaces. Edzo does not create public profiles for children.

Data and analytics

Edzo may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the platform. You can manage your preferences for non-essential data collection from your account settings.

Deleting your data

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data, including your profile information, activity data, and any resources you’ve created. To request data deletion, check your account settings or contact Edzo support.
Data deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered.

For schools and administrators

If your school manages Edzo accounts, some privacy settings may be configured at the school level. Check with your school administrator for details on your organization’s privacy policies. For more on how Edzo handles data, see Safety & trust.
